What was Hillary doing today while the Don got all the attention?

She was giving an important address to the Black Women's Agenda Symposium.

It was thoughtful and serious, so of course it didn't get covered.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/its-time-for-tv-news-to-stop-playing-the-stooge-for-donald-trump/2016/09/16/bc66812e-7c28-11e6-ac8e-cf8e0dd91dc7_story.html?tid=sm_fb

Meanwhile, as if to illustrate in caricature the differences in the candidates’ styles — and relative success with the media — the Democratic nominee was doing something unexciting, substantial and workmanlike: addressing the Black Women’s Agenda Symposium, talking about the economic challenges faced by women of color.

It got, of course, only a fraction of the media’s attention.

"No matter what you do, Donald, don't let people see her for who she really is! They'll lose that mistrust factor we're counting on, and you know you can't stand toe-to-toe with her. By all means, keep the spotlight on YOU!!"

Increasingly, the media coverage, even PBS, is starting to remind me of the coverage they all gave to Al Gore.

Ones about her policy stumps, what good she did today, and the like. There's enough mud slinging and DU'ers already know they dislike the other candidate, so what good are more 'idiot tRump' threads? Just taking up space.

So thank you pnwmom. Encore!

Good to see she's continuing her policy approach before she becomes president!

I listen to a rightwing area's classic rock station, and they have crazy commercials for info on emergency rations at times and FEMA camps, and the syndicated news they pay for at the top of the hour is straight forward and at least when they mention Clinton it's very honest and half the time talks about policy. When referencing her just now though, they brought up how Hillary condemned him inciting violence, and mentioned what he said in Miami. So, hopefully, little by little she'll work her way to a landslide victory and we can stop having to see his Orange Bloat on TV nonstop several times as much as her!

The MSM just doesn't report it, they dwell on gaffs and click-bait headlines. That is why even some DUers think she isn't talking policy.

UK online media does report her speeches and movements....If you ignore the trashy ones.

it actually counts. Some in the media are - finally - beginning to realize just how much they have betrayed their professional calling.

Most real action happens at events like these where Hillary and her surrogates speak. They are used to network and organize her supporters. I attended one this past week here in Switzerland, no less!

Let Herr Hair, the Cheeto-Dusted Hot Air Buffoon, get the M$M dupes' attention. Other than his supporters who cheer any and everything he says/does, few are even paying attention. Those who are on-the-ground working to elect Hillary are the ones who will count most in the end. And we take things VERY seriously.
