Trump simply lies about everything. When will the media stop letting him get away with it?
This morning at his new hotel, Trump said that the newly completed hotel was ahead of schedule and under budget. On the Chris Mathews show this evening, during the "Tell Me Something I don't Know Segment", Paul Singer of USA Today said, "Contrary to what Trump said this morning, the hotel is not complete and ahead of schedule. Trump won't be moving into it anytime soon."
This man lies about absolutely everything. When is the media going to stop letting him get away with this crap. This is not just small white lies, i.e. "Does this dress make me look fat?" The man absolutely has no credibility about anything. How can we have a president who would lie about absolutely everything and what should be done about a media that condones it?
We've never had a president in my lifetime that lies about absolutely everything and the media just rolls its eyes. In fact they don't even seem to roll their eyes anymore. They just ignore it. If Trump can't be trusted to tell the truth about the little things, how would we ever be able to trust what he says about the not so little things? Does the condoning media think that once he gets elected, (should he prevail) that he'll suddenly start telling the truth? Or what happens when he does tell them a lie and they know its a lie? Do they say Mr. President, what you just said was not true? What are they thinking? Trump makes Dick Cheney seem honest and trustworthy.
