Speaking in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum announced that he was running for president because he reveres the values "those men fought for on that battlefield," gesturing toward the Gettysburg battlefield.
There was no indication whatsoever who "those men" were.
Ummm... which side, Rick? Which side's values?

(1,484 posts)because he is but pandering to all sides and he will do or say anything to garner the almighty vote. He has no moral strength or belief other than his allegiance to his own monster ego. That man just wants to be 'da presdent' and his candidacy has now shifted into the kissing babies mode along with trying to twist his past words around so as to make them seem palatable to all potential voters.
Imagine his having polluted our tiny planet with seven more hungry mouths to feed and then wearing it on his chest as if it was a badge of honor as he tells us that if he is elected president, we will all become obliged to do the same thing. The Fuhrer told the Brides of Germany those same words back during the Nazi rise to power. How lucky we are to not be on the cusp of living in those same times again....oh, wait.
Remember, the *right* wing of the political spectrum includes both republicans as well as nazis, in spite of what a confused ben gleck may have you believe.
