Why the 50% quote from Trump sadly won't get the traction that Romney 47% quote did.
The answer is that he's already called his supporters "poorly educated". He's already claimed that he could shoot someone and not lose any support.
He's already insulted people that could vote for him and it didn't affect him like it affected Romney because Romney was a traditional politician held to traditional standards, and Trump's forever given a pass because he's supposed to be brash and outrageous and "that's just who he is".
He's successfully blinded and numbed people against their own senses.
