How the Clinton campaign can minimize the fallout from the Hillary/van video

When she returns to the campaign rallies, have Hillary take all the blame.

Have her say she was pushing herself beyond what someone with pneumonia should push themselves because there is so much at stake if Democrats were to lose to Trump in this election.

Have her say she knew she should have rested but feared becoming complacent against the kind of threat Trump poses to the nation.

In other words, it was not her health but resolve to beat Trump that caused her to overheat.

I'm not too concerned about it. I was at first, but I think they ended up calming the storm. Now everyone is talking about Trumps health on Dr. Oz and laughing about that. I don't hang out with many political junkies like me. This turned the attention to him and his health.

that way it's a positive that we want in a president, not just a campaigner.

that makes me wish I had a direct line to Joel Benensen. I'm sure they know what they're doing but still...

Trump's people don't answer questions, they turn every question into a critique of Democrats.

How about Clinton stops explaining and apologizing and goes on the offensive.

It's apparently working for Trump, so start punching.

I say own it all the way in a manner that makes her look good. Say "you're right" I was pushing myself beyond what someone with pneumonia should push themselves for the sake of the nation. "Guilty as charged."

And it doesn't just vanish all of a sudden. I'm sure she has good people taking care of her, but she is naturally going to push herself knowing what's at stake.
