2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumMore positive ads for Hillary?
I've been seeing a lot of Clinton campaign ads lately, but they all seem to be in the same format - attack ads against Trump, often using his words against him. I think those ads are effective and they need to be out there.
But, after seeing those ads for a solid month, its getting to the point where I'm saying to myself "OK, I get it, he's despicable. But what about the alternative?"
There needs to be a series of positive ads where Hillary explains her platform -- how she's going to support health care, be an advocate for working people, help keep us safe, etc, etc. Tell the American people what she is about -- like she did at the convention. Her issues resonate, and they need to be front and center.
Maybe I'm watching the wrong channels. Are there ads out there like that on TV? If not, there should be.

(15,472 posts)I am capable of acknowledging my faults, mistakes and regrets, my opponent isn't , then show the carnival barker using his ambiguous reasoning to come out so he was right, so he knew before anybody, everybody, anytime and anywhere . The second part could be done in 15 seconds so it wouldn't seem to go and on .

Time to get Democrats and left learners fired up with positive stuff instead of endless pandering to wishy washy Rethugs who haven't realized Trump sucks yet.
