Does not want Trump to win. They have to have concerns about HRC so that they will be able to have credibility to attack Trump after the debates. Especially when the birther question is asked.

3. Nightly News is NOT news. It is fodder for the pundits who are entertainment. They need horse race.

The media need a Horse Race to get viewers so they can sell advertising to make a profit.

However, there is also the possibility that they could instead cover a Train Wreck for profit. In fact it might enhance their future profit potential if they recognize an imminent train wreck in time, ahead of the other outlets.

We've recognized the tRump slow motion Train Wreck for months now. But the media is married to the Horse Race profit model and is hard to turn around. However if they don't recognize it, they become increasingly irrelevant and their profits will suffer.

For now, the media are reflexively all about Horse Race.

Which is WHY I'm still not that impressed or sold with the notion that some of the anchors on the various news/cable networks "seem" to be getting tougher in taking on tRump surrogates who do nothing but LIE, LIE, LIE, and who don't answer questions they're asked. We have debates coming up, and the proof will be in the pudding: How will the moderators debate the upcoming debates? Will they pull a Matt Lauer, or be tough but fair with both Hillary & tRump? STILL not convinced that the moderators, media or even the pundits will do what's right/fair. I'll be HAPPY if I'm proven wrong.

Finally, there are still too many pundits/writers who are lowering the bar so low as to not even have the bar supported on 2 poles for tRump for these upcoming debates that I'm afraid if he can stand up there and insult Hillary, LESS not call her Crooked Hillary, nor call her the c-word or a pig, he'll be declared the winner of said debate/debates. He'll have no facts, no information, n detail, no knowledge of foreign affairs/policy, the economy, race relations etc. But, we know Hillary will be ready with facts, be coherent, knowledgeable, thoughtful and have great depth of foreign affairs, have actual plans for education the economy etc., that I'm afraid she'll be punished for being.....
