The Racist Republican's Cognitive Dissonance

Conviction #1: "There is no racism in America and minorities have it great as, if not better than, Whites!"

Conviction #2: "Oh my god, Whites are gonna be a minority soon and that is gonna be so horrible!"

F. Scott Fitzgerald even referenced it in The Great Gatsby where Tom Buchanon was ranting about whites becoming a minority and it was a pressing problem.
