Great news for Cali! We have been trying to get rid of Mary Bono for years. A true right wing

conservative. Over the past 20 years the Gay population of Palm Springs specifically in the
Cathedral City area has grown exponentially. This is one of the great gifts of having a huge tent
consisting of diversified groups. I am straight with a ton of gay friends and they kept telling
me how Palm Springs was changing. Thank you guys. Another example of the "Times They are a Changing".

I always wondered though why Sonny and Mary were conservatives and not liberals.

But Raul Ruiz' name should be in the title thread, as the winner against Mary. (IMHO).

where they should go: irrelevancy.

The damage they have done to this state is enormous. It's going to take real progressive policies to get us out of the mess, and we can't have obstructionist Republicans standing in our way.

For the rest of the nation. With complete control on the state government now even 3rd parties have the same amount of "power" as GOP. Resources will still start flowing to other proposition groups and the GOP will hopefully just disappear and be replaced by another more sane alternative.

passing through Cathederal City.. It was all so sparse then. I can imagine how much it's grown!

I'm thinking this makes Cher very happy, too. I still remember her saying at Sonny's eulogy that he was only a republicon for reconnaissance. You know that tool, mary bono made her sick.

THanks for the news about CC, busterbrown

I wonder if she'll tone it down any, knowing what 2014 will look like for her.
