Hillary's claim that 50% of Trump supporters are in the basket of deplorables is extremely fair

According Rasmussen, Hillary has 41% of the vote, Trump 39, Johnson 9, and Stein 3, and undecided or other must be the remaining 8%. So, Hillary is saying that 19 (half of Trump's people) out of 100 voters are in the basket of deplorables. That sounds very reasonable to me.

Given the reaction, it seems over 30% of voters think themselves the deplorable. Coyotl Sep 2016 #1

If you're not deplorable, you have no reason top be upset.

Assuming the idea that half of Trump's supporters are deplorable... what the "non-deplorable" half don't want to hear is that they support a candidate along with racists, sexists, misogynists, homophobes, xenophobes, and bigots.

All Trump supporters aren't racists but if you show me a racist, I'll show you a Trump supporter.

I'm upset about when it comes to this situation is how HC had to take it back. She was saying what rings true for her opponent's campaign and his supporters. All he has done is thrive on society's most negative elements: bigotry, cynicism, hypocrisy, anger, dishonesty, a lack of critical thinking, etc., and he never goes into deep detail regarding policy. HC was being kind when she said only "half" of his supporters fit into the basket of deplorables. It takes a certain type of person to support him for president. The sad part is that this mindset within his campaign has now become the mainstream within the GOP when it was once the fringe, thanks in large part to the likes of FOX News and InfoWars.

I started noticing this about 10 years ago. It seems about 23-28% of people believe in all the political conspiracies, all the urban myths, believe in ghosts, believe in "end of days", believe in angels on their shoulder, elections are rigged, etc.
And facts don't matter.
