2. Assuming the economy recovers well (which it well if the GOP doesn't drive us over the fiscal cliff)

then yes. He'd probably win in a landslide if there's a booming economy.

That guy has had a tough 4 years and it is NOT getting any easier.

Theoretically, whether or not he could win depends on what we see over the next couple years.

If he solves the fiscal issues in a sane and balanced way, gets the Dream Act passed, successfully finishes ACA, gets out of Afghanistan, economy recovers, fer sure...we are still pretty screwed up as a country.

8. Sure but since that is an unlikely scenario, what do you think he will do

with the rest of his life? Hard to imagine him not using all his talents in a position of power but where do you go after the Presidency? I know one thing - he will be one hell of an asset to the next Democratic candidate. I think even surpassing Bill Clinton in bringing on the "Love" for the Democrats in future campaigns. Too bad the Republican's only hero - Ronnie Raygun - is dead. And then there is that whole unfortunate W debacle.

It could not be......He is not eligible to be President again.

And I don't think she wants it. She is tired.

Sadly, don't think Hillary will be running next election. Chelsea might, though......how about Clinton/Schweitzer 2020?

14. If the economy is significantly better in 2016 we go in with a pretty distinct advantage

provided Obama is like in the mid 50s to low 60s in approval, as long as we nominate someone who doesn't suck at politics and campaigning we stand a good chance of holding the White House, simply due to us having a basic structural advantage in the electorial college.

18. Absolutely, but he'll be "Big Dog" in the next race. Someone else needs to take over.

Biden could do it, but a Grayson/Franken ticket would rock.
