2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTrump survey
My husband received a survey in the mail from the Trump campaign. He filled it out agreeing with all of Hillary's plans and none of his. He also did not contribute any money. He asked me to take it and drop it in a mailbox rather than have our mail carrier think we agree with him. Turns out two other of our middle-aged white male friends received them....no women.
This is not a surprise but we wondered it others had received it, and what they did it. One friend took his to the local Democratic headquarters.

(17,321 posts)That hilarious, the part about wanting to avoid your mail carrier thinking less of you by mistaking you for Trump supporters. So when you took it to the mail yourself, did you have it concealed deep in your purse, or did you wear a paper bag over your head?

(7,637 posts)I am a DNC volunteer and I am involved with the data operations in the campaign. We try our best to have an accurate picture of the voters and target our mail, ads, gotv efforts to likely democrats. its pretty good. Yesterday we placed hundreds of phone calls out of lists generated from the database. We got zero Trump supporter on the line and just 4 undecided.
Apparently Trump has no data operation and is just wasting money randomly sending campaign litterature to people like you who are strong democrats.
