Romney's popular vote tally is at 47.9%. There is a God.

Before the election, I said here on DU that I would believe in a God if Romney ironically only got 47% of the vote. I was disappointed to see him in the 48% range for the last few days, but now he has fallen into the 47% range according to Huffpo.

I am now a believer and free to pursue of life of religious fulfillment.

you specified 48%, which has two significant figures. 47.9% has three, and rounds to 48% if only two are reported.

But if you are looking for eligible gods to believe in, I wholeheartedly recommend this one:

Then it turns out the states he carried are the states that have the highest percentage of people that don't pay federal income tax and they are the states that receive a larger percentage of federal funds. So in fact he did get their votes.

Last night it was under 48 then today it went over 48 now it's back down under 48.

I suspect it will be going up and down for several more days.

Any chance it goes down another .5% so that it rounds down to 47?

I hope it keeps going down to at least 47.4% or better yet a solid 47%.

An election stranger than fiction. Nobody could have made this up.
