I do not believe Hillary ever thought she

would coast to election day. NEVER. This is one of the most stupid headlines I have seen and I have seen LOTS!

Coasting is no longer an option for Hillary Clinton, given Donald Trump's resilience

As Donald Trump’s resilience defies his erratic style, thin policy plans and incendiary pronouncements, Hillary Clinton is confronting the reality that coasting to election day is no longer a viable strategy.

Clinton has abruptly switched gears in her effort to lure the vast numbers of suburban swing voters and moderate Republicans who are still undecided. The carefully scripted candidate cautiously grinding it out has given way to a more aggressive street fighter, one who is eager to force Republican voters to face their party’s uneasiness with its own nominee.

“What would Ronald Reagan say about a Republican nominee who attacks America's generals and praised Russia's president?” Clinton said Thursday morning, when she greeted reporters about to board her campaign plane with the type of impromptu news conference she had avoided all summer. It was her third in three days......................

Hillary was diligently building her ground organization and letting Trump dig his own hole. Now it's time to take him apart between now and November. I also think, with the end of summer, more and more people become engaged and that has an impact.

Weren't they just complaining about how her whole campaign has been about attacking Trump and not enough policy?

They need to look in a mirror to figure out who to blame.

4. Yeah, we all thought the first woman president would "coast" to victory.

Perhaps those who have convinced themselves that sexism is long dead and that men are the truly oppressed gender believed that Hillary would "coast" to victory. The rest of us have known for a long time that the idea of a woman leading the most powerful country in the world is deeply threatening and disturbing to some people, male or female. We have never taken the idea of a female president for granted. The idea of HRC becoming president is as radical as the idea of BHO becoming president was eight years ago.

impugn any negative light on Hillary whether it is valid or not.

Their polling with USC is also messed up for so many reasons, not the least is using an untested model in their sampling

You really don't want to toss a lot of money out before Labor day. Setting up the ground game which she has been doing in states is a big part of elections. Those campaign head quarters did not spring up over night. They looked at areas to work up where and how many offices they should have. Set up the rentals of space. Started making ads which are just really starting to show up now. She started her outreach to moderate repub's during the convention. And has continued since then. So how exactly is it abruptly switching gears?
