Elizabeth Warren to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia

Weeks after urging support for presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, will return to the City of Brotherly Love Friday to promote the former first lady's campaign.
Warren, who delivered primetime remarks at the DNC, will campaign for Clinton alongside Pennsylvania U.S. Senate hopeful Katie McGinty and other supporters during an afternoon event the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who was rumored to have been on Clinton's vice presidential shortlist, is expected to highlight what's at stake for Pennsylvania families in the November election and to promote voter registration ahead of the state's Oct. 11 deadline, according to Clinton's campaign.
She is also likely to touch on Clinton and Democrats' commitment to building an economy that works for all voters, as well as outline the "dangers of a Donald Trump presidency for our national security" during the 2 p.m. event, according to campaign officials.
Warren, an outspoken critic of Trump, has publicly sparred with the GOP White House hopeful in recent months.
The senator previously hit the campaign trail with Clinton in late June, as she joined the former secretary of state for a rally in Cincinnati.....
