I used to live in Seattle so I congratulate my friends.....

Let's see Democratic governor, gay marriage upheld by the voters, personal use of marijuana allowed, BLUE state......these are all the big things.

Inslee will be a great governor - and probably the most handsome one in the country to boot!

I swear, he could have easily been an actor.

I'm happy for Washington state!

This was, no offense, one race you could tell the progressive candidate from the conservative just by looking at them. Inslee is just what we need. I would assume we would have ceased to be the 'evergreen state' if the other guy had his way.
Also, the DA is now dismissing minor pot convictions and marriage equality is the law...done!

Forward Ho!

And the Republicans were all up in arms about it being stolen from them.

It was wonderful to watch. Dino Rossi was ahead at first and then Christine Gregoire caught up and just passed him. He was a jackass of course. Republics have no sense of irony. Whining crybabies in every situation. Final tally: 1,373,361 to 1,373,228. Amazing. It really made me feel like my vote counted.

and, um, weed.

I personally hate weed or it hates me. But I hate seeing it illegal when alcohol is so much more dangerous. I don't want friends and family to go to jail because they like Ganja.

now. Back in the day I would have considered moving to Washington because of such a ruling, lol. But, now I'm just glad that it's not illegal.

I didn't expect Inslee to win - he's way too liberal for anywhere in this state but King County. That said, it happened. Inslee won and I like Inslee even better than Gregoire - she was very third way pragmatic, Inslee is a real liberal.

Jay will be a good Gov.

I remember when he voted "no" against the war back in the day.

He has been solid from the start of this mess.
