2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWe should all join the Republican Party
Everyone send in $ 10 bucks and tell em "no compromise"
"Don't give our country away"
"Double up the crazy"
"Prayer in School"
We could announce it at DU.
We could let them see out blue print.
They still wouldn't get it.
Rove would work his liitle fat fingers to the nub on his tiny little white board.
They would believe it and project numbers out for a landslide and get even further right.
We could take back 100 seats.

(76 posts)1. Republican Party??
What is this party? I've never heard of it. Did it exist prior to 2012?

(1,277 posts)2. This is sort of OT
But I was guilty of spreading false hope at Freeperville. I registered and spun yarns about my brother in law who worked at a Romney field office in suburban Philly. I told stories of incredible enthusiasm and internal polling. They ate it up like candy. Said it made their weekend and that it showed they would win PA.
Slightly evil but fun and satisfying.
