I mean, within the internals of that poll I just saw where this poll was conducted from August 9th to September 1st.

There's something just plain weird about month long polling like that which caught my eye. Plus, Hillary is NOT winning Texas and now Virginia is a toss up state per this poll? My friend in Brownsville Texas said tRump is up in Texas by almost 20 points. Where are the cross-tabs, ethnic breakdown of this poll, who are the registered/likely voters? Let me stop there.

I call BS on this poll, and strongly feel that this poll along with the CNN with it's purposely built in flaws is trying to keep this presidential race a horse race, so they can make tons of advertising $$$$.

Methodology - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/09/06/how-the-washington-post-surveymonkey-50-state-poll-was-conducted/

Basically it was piggy-backed onto existing surveys done by surveymonkey during that period. The participants were being surveyed for other things and at the end of their survey, were asked if they wanted to continue on and be surveyed on "current events" (which in this case, would be the Presidential election).

It's an interesting departure from the usual click-bait "onlline poll". It doesn't mean it is more or less valid but it apparently tried to filter out the bots.
