Whenever they were the tragedy the media engage is in an immediate 24 hour new cycle we are they attempt to one of each other with producing any new bit of information. The information is rarely fact checked.

Consider 20 years ago with Richard Jewell and how they destroyed him. It is only gotten worse. Today all the care about is a close election and they will do whatever is necessary to ensure that it happens. The reason is greed. It close election means more viewers and more advertisement dollars. The 4th estate is dead.

Expect between now and the election no matter what it will be spun as "this is so close it could be anyone's game" no matter how far that breaks from realities.

The media knows that a close uncertain election is far better for ratings than a blowout that can be seen coming far away, so that's what they spin for.


If they thought they could recreate 2000 and make an uncertain election drag out for days they would too.

It's all about the $$$$$ and ratings bring the $$$$$.
