I think this question should be posed to Donald Trump

Specifically, I'd like to see it asked of him in the debate.

The question:

If non-citizens such as foreign Muslims should be prohibited from entering the United States based on the potential crimes they might commit, what should we do with American citizens who have already committed crimes against other Americans?

Should they be stripped of their citizenship and deported after serving their sentence?

After all, these are known criminals whereas you, under the immigration policy you're proposing, would prohibit entry of Muslim non-citizens whether they were found guilty of a crime or not.

Should American citizens who have served a prison sentence for such crimes as drug trafficking or rape be deported?
