"... there's nothing Trump can do that won't be forgiven. Except change his immigration policies." Nothing like getting dumped on the very day your book comes out, is there? Obviously, this bit of obsequious drivel didn't get published fast enough to make it into the lifeboats furiously rowing away from the sinking SS Trump. Now the author has to go out and tell that everything she wrote in the book is wrong. Couldn't happen to a nicer person!

What the heck were you ever thinking 'trusting' Donald Trump? Everything Ted Cruz said about Donald Trump was right. I'm surprised a smart person like you would ever trust an immoral con-artist like Trump. He has cheated his wives, his employees, his associates his entire life. It's not like you didn't have this information He won't show his taxes because there's obviously all sorts of bombshells he's hiding.
Come on, Ann! Denounce the buffoon. He's going to go right back to being 'very liberal' about everything. Your book has been out a day and it's already irrelevant. How embarrassing this must be for you. But you sealed your fate latching onto a con-artist like Trump.

Irrelevant before release, now selling at a "Yuge" discount.
And can you really take a book seriously that mixes Latin and the word 'awesome', it doesn't even make any sense, she might as well say 'E Pluribus Orange'...

At the time of this book's publication, Coulter faces a serious conundrum. Her books have always been divisive...that's how she created a following. But on the day of her book launch, a day which should have included her taking a victory lap for her newest release, Donald Trump threw out the idea that he might change his immigration policies if elected. To the far-right conservative base, immigration is right up there with the three Gs (God, Guns, Gays). Trump's campaign ascended largely on the promise of deportations and a wall that "Mexico will pay for." So, Coulter no longer finds Trump quite so "E Pluribus Awesome!," but what can she do about that? One option would be to denounce her own book, which is not going to happen. She has publicly expressed her anger and disappointment over Trump's "shift," but she would really like it if you bought a copy of her book. And why would you do that? A few reasons, probably. Coulter's fans have a loyalty that is similar to the loyalty seen in Trump's followers. And for people who actually believe what she writes, many of them are probably just as angry as Ann at The Donald. Trump's entire career...as seen through far left as well as far left goggles, and all points in between, can be found in a multitude of other sources, many of which come with much higher journalistic credentials than Ann will ever have. This is just one of those moments in which an author whose sole offering is outrage and opinion hit the wall, where she placed her "trust" in jumping aboard the "Trump Train" and selling a boatload of books, and the Donald threw a wrench into it on day one.

Notice how NONE of the 1 star reviews are Verified Purchases? It's because those reviews were written by liberals trying to create a false narrative; liberals lying, how shocking! Makes you wonder what sorts of dirty tricks they will be dusting off for down ticket elections this year. Actually, it sort of validates some of what Ann mentions in the book about liberal tactics. Very telling. Way to live the stereotype DU.

I didn't realize that DU was that well known! Sorry Dave C., but there are plenty of Coulter critics out there, they don't all hang out at Democratic Underground. There are a lot of fun positive reviews as well and I'm sure they were written by totally unbiased readers.

There are many kinds of truth. There are truths based on facts, truths based on faith, and truths based on something that sounds as if it should be true (truthiness). Then there's the kind of truth we find in Sarah's book: stories and concepts that become truths simply because she states them. She's a lot like our Lord and Savior, Glen Beck, in that respect.
Sometimes, she states truths that would be considered ludicrous if uttered by someone else. Her claim that the McCain campaign forced her to spend $150,000 in RNC funds to dress her family in designer clothes is one example of that. Although it might be easier to believe that she acted like a trailer park Zsa Zsa who'd found a credit card left behind at a possum feed, she blames McCain staffers. That's good enough for us, because we have faith; we want to believe her truths.
But the book isn't perfect. As much as I enjoyed the few short paragraphs in which Mrs Palin laid out her policy objectives, she could have condensed it all into one sentence: "I'm going to grab an Oxo Good Grips Stainless Serving Spatula and go all mavericky on your non-white, non-Christian and non-heterosexual butts."
The book also fails to expose Mrs. Palin's intellectual brilliance and keen grasp of foreign policy issues. Why wasn't the text of her recent speech in Hong Kong included? Although it remains secret, it's rumored that she viciously rebuked the Vietcong king for his assault on the Empire State Building. That's a speech we've been waiting for nearly 75 years to hear. It's big news and should have been included.
As you read other reviews of this book, please remember that Mrs. Palin has many enemies who are eager to pan her work. The Palin family's most potent nemesis, Levi's johnston, is no dpubt fully erect and ready to spew globs of misfortune upon them for a third time. And reason-adoring intellectuals are certain to point out that an interview on Good Morning Topeka doesn't qualify as a policy summit in the Far East.
But a few bad reviews won't stop her. She's seen much worse from her kitchen window. It can't be pleasant to gaze upon Antichristograd every morning as you brew your coffee.
My review isn't complete, but I think I'll quit anyway, because writing reviews, like governing, is just too darned hard to finish.

I'd be willing to get bad reviews and good sales ranks for my books, and most other authors would probably agree.
