(365 posts)Trump will win. This is what he is counting on, and it is his only path to victory.
Everyone on here has to get people to the polls. Many Dems unfortunately, have to be scared into voting, or that will stay home. And we will get what they deserve.

(365 posts)But the reality Is all about the GOTV game. If dems get comfortable, we will head towards a comfortable Trump victory.
If every passionate dem gets 2 or 3 people to the polls, election night will be a good night. Dems are way too optimistic and it scares the hell out of me. Remember the European Union vote 3 months ago..."stay" was supposed to win.

(11,746 posts)If you're trying to say we are kicking ass but need to not get complacent then I agree.

(54,405 posts)Not due to reality, you understand. But if that's the truth, and the MSM reports it faithfully, the MSM will be reporting the same thing (except for more spontaneous Trump verbal outrage) for the next two months, and that's too boring and monotonous to sell too much in the way of advertising.

(5,810 posts)to stand up to the Bully the Republicans encouraged and allowed to be their candidate. Trump is a real embarrassment to the United States and is viewed with scorn around the world. We, the American voters, need to demonstrate our resolve to repudiate this awful man in the best way we can....by voting proudly and in overwhelming numbers for the only candidate with real policies and a platform we can endorse.
An appeal to decency and pride in who we elect would go a long way in combating complacency among voters who may be convinced this thing is already over and decided. It is not over until the fat lady sings, as the saying goes. So we need to vote and convince every American we know that every vote matters like our lives depend on it.
