(17,865 posts)2. Obama needs to go on television as he is negotiating with an
intransient Congress and lay out his arguments. Use visuals to express it. Show growth rates at given marginal tax rates. Show what is being spent on in the budget. Discuss areas in which he is trying to reduce spending.
Also phone calls to Republican Representatives in the most vulnerable districts might be prudent. Let them know that he and his friends may decide to exercise extra special attention in those districts.
Hold up Norquist's pledge and ask how can you bargain in good faith after taking a non-negotiable position.
