Tonight I was watching Don Lemon talking with Dan Rather about the most recent Trump controversy regarding his attempts to flip flop and embrace the immigration status quo. The stories focus on the current controversy of the day whereas the Hillary stories are either re-hash of the e-mail story or a report of the latest baseless charge being made by the Trump campaign, this time regarding Hillary's health.
Yet, Dan Rather feels the need to repeatedly say "they are both flawed candidates." What is up with this? The more Trump screws up, the more flawed Hillary becomes? The next time year hear a media talking head interjecting "they are both flawed candidates" or something similar while covering the latest self-inflicted stumble by the Trump campaign, understand that the media might as well be saying, "I am engaging in false equivalency right now to show the mean Trump campaign that I am being fair and objective."

(25,644 posts)As always, "Let's start out with Donald Trump." He wants to start an investigation. The Clinton Foundation is crooked, Hillary Clinton is crooked (and more about emails, she's a liar because she said all of her work-related emails were turned over last year "and that turned out not to have been accurate" . Trump went to Louisiana before Obama while Obama goofed off on the golf course for a week and ignored flood victims. Trump Trump Trump good. Democrats bad. And as always, ABC, I hate you and your crappy propaganda.
