I'm thinking the GOP noise machine tries to convince the base he is only
scamming centrists to win the election, by 'reneging' on his deportation of 11 million undocumented and thus fooling the centrists. They are going to fool the base into thinking the racist base are on the inside of the con. IMHO That is the way it looks on free republic.
