'Cause intelligence and knowledge in a chief executive is SO over rated.

(14,856 posts)There was a skit in 2000 that predicted the outcome of either a Gore or Bush Presidency.
They depicted Gore as a teacher while addressing the nation -- e.g., asking everyone to open their textbooks to page such-and-such.
Bush was depicted worse, at least. A large fire was seen behind the oval office window for him, with references to various disasters under his leadership. It wasn't too far off the mark!
