Exclusive: Clinton would dominate 2016 Iowa caucuses, PPP shows

"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would start out as a dominant favorite in the 2016 Iowa caucuses if she chooses to run for president, a new survey from Public Policy Polling finds.

The PPP poll, which was shared exclusively with POLITICO, shows Clinton taking 58 percent of the Iowa vote in a hypothetical presidential run. Vice President Joe Biden trails far behind at 17 percent, followed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo at 6 percent and Massachusetts Sen.-elect Elizabeth Warren at 3 percent."

I would love to see Hillary make one final run, but she will be almost 70 in 2016. Maybe I'm making too much of that, but I wonder if she is really serious about being done with running for President. On NBC Latino they said it could be Clinton/Castro (Julian Castro) and Jeb Bush/Susana Martinez in 2016. I don't know about all that. Good lord can we just let the dust settle from this one before we start thinking about 2016. Anyway, its no surprise that Hillary would be in the lead and I would like to see her head the ticket with maybe Corey Booker (Newark mayor) or Deval Patrick (Mass Governor) or Castro as VP.

Can you remember who the GOP favorite was the day after the 2008 election? Sarah somebody, I think it was.

Oh wait...

On edit: Is this the same Hillary Clinton who faced Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 general election?

All the Obama supporters will fervently back her, partly out of mild guilt because of the near-rancorous 2008 primaries, but also because she's been an awesome SoS and because of Bill.

I do feel guilty because I was Team Hillary before I was Team Obama. I would donate and phone bank and totally be out there volunteering for her campaign. Bill Clinton is definitely owed something as well for his efforts to ensure an Obama re-election. He really got things going with the Democratic National Convention so yes you are correct in that Hillary will get Obama supporters.

which is why she couldnt win in 2008

This time obviously obama will enthusiastically support her

There should not be any primary fights

We must elect a woman president and not go back to the first 43
