Note: just after the 13:45 mark, while talking about "the wall," he actually points to the audience and says, "I might lie to you like Hillary does all the time, but I'll never lie to Jacamo." OMG.
The rant about the Hillary lookalike is just after his "Brixit" (not a typo) remark which starts around the 42:15 point.

(35,701 posts)Can you imagine how I would feel if I spent all of that money, all of this energy, all of this time, and lost? he said. I will never ever forgive the people of Connecticut, I will never forgive the people of Florida, and Pennsylvania and Ohio. But I love them anyway.
I sure hope there are videos from that rally.

(5,943 posts)Where has all the money gone? It's sure not being used on TV ads. And he's been paying himself and family members for all of their travel and time on the job. LOL

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

(1,397 posts)I can't answer your question, however, I wonder if it's as simple as:
1. People donate to the campaign.
2. Trump lends money to the campaign.
3. When it's all over, the campaign pays him back . . . with interest.
I've read that the campaign is paying Trump for his use of his private jet as well as paying his family for their "work" with the campaign.
Neither you nor I nor other DU'ers would think of doing this because we are honest people. Trump is a crook, a grifter, a scam artist . . . he's always looking for a way to rip off others.

(5,813 posts)Cry me a river. The happiest day of 2016, for me...a Florida resident....will be 11/8/2016 when tRump faces the biggest defeat in a Presidental election in our nation's history. The day we can once and for all declare him the BIGGEST LOSER! EVER.....Mull that one over for a while, Donald.

(35,701 posts)Apparently making fun of the Governor of Conn's name, Daniel. Way to go Trumpy. I am sure that gives all of the folks named "Daniel" and their spouses warm and fuzzy feelings about you.
And he says Hillary is unhinged. Lots of good material here for ads. The Clinton campaign can't possibly use all of it though.

(5,943 posts)He brought Jacomo and his family out onto the stage at the start of the rally. Talked about how attractive Jacomo was, and then asked him to say a few words at the podium. Jacomo introduced himself (just gave his name) and then said maybe one sentence, something like we should all vote for Trump. Trump typically brings people onto the stage at the start of rallies. Sometimes he makes it sound like he just happened to meet them on the fly at the rally, but interestingly, those people always seemed to be dressed much more formally than the rest of the crowd.
Throughout the rally, he keeps making side comments to Jacomo. My guess is that family was sitting off to the side of the stage.

(13,468 posts)If they make a movie about his campaign it will take a hell of a good actor to play him.
PatSeg
(47,600 posts)He acts like someone who is very sleep deprived. When he's not at a rally or on TV, he is tweeting. Also he could be taking diet drugs for energy.
I can't think of any actor who could play him without looking like he is over acting.

(5,943 posts)"I'm glad they kept the dress." That's around the 30:50 mark.
And did you know that the sole reason CNN's ratings are tanking is because Trump won't let them interview him? And we all know how huge their ratings would be if Trump granted them an interview. That's @ 26:30
And my favorite is when he pats himself on the back and tells everyone he's such a good sportsman because he refused to use the "bad" picture they gave him of Hillary for his chart and substituted what he thought was a much better picture of Hill. I have to admit, it was a good picture of Hillary, but what thinking process led him to do that? Cue the song, How Bizarre, How Bizarre. @ 36:35
