Watching an interview right now on CNN where a Trump spokeswoman just said:
"We weren't even in Afghanistan until Obama took us into Afghanistan".

The CNN interviewer asked her about the comment and she again said:
"What I'm saying is, we weren't in Afghanistan until Obama took us in and it is his war.
Is that not a fact?"

When told it was "W" who took us into Afghanistan, she came back with:
"Well, let's talk about Libya."

5. There is something to what she said

The big push for GWB was in Iraq and Afghanistan was kept at a relatively low level of involvement. During the 2008 campaign, President Obama campaigned on the basis that Iraq was the wrong war and that the real war was in Afghanistan which GWB had neglected. After President Obama was inaugurated, the US involvement in Afghanistan escalated while Iraq was quickly phased down.

His Iraq military engagement was based on lies fabricated to justify that war. The post 2008 Afghanistan surge was at the behest of the military because Bush's handling of the Afghanistan incursion was such a disaster. Oh, I know, it's all Obamas fault........ Geez....
