Michael Moore goes full SteinTrumper

I see Putin's girl Jill has this post in her facebook feed today.

Typical Moore.

He was hellbent on depressing turnout in 2012, too, veering into the "Don't vote, it only encourages them!" nonsense during Occupy, and then spreading Naomi Wolfe's debunked, tinfoil hat conspiracy that Obama has personally ordered Occupy camps broken up.

Just as it's good for business for rightwing talk radio when a Dem wins, Moore loves it when the GOP holds the White House, as he then then he fancies himself as the voice of the youthful opposition. I've always detected a level of resentment from Moore toward Obama, when young voters flocked to our president for inspiration instead him.

Meaning the media was wrong for calling this so early because it fosters more Green voting and nonvoting....it allows voters think it no longer matters what they do. I've thought this myself, many times. They are calling it too damn early

But I'm sure you already knew that. Your posts are deliberately divisive and give the HRC campaign a bad name. I remember when you referred to Jane Sanders as Bernie's "current wife", in an attempt to cast aspersions on him for his divorce three decades ago. Shame on you.

Seriously? You're wagging your finger at me and holding a grudge over something mild like that? That was ages ago! Besides, the primary is over, no need to rehash the past and pick at scabs.

Let's be friends and move on, okay?

Let's repeat once again: the democratic party is not entitled to anyone's vote. The democratic party is one of several left or leftish wing parties in this country. Left leaning people can vote their consciences among several left or leftish wing candidates.

You are just pushing potential Hillary voters away by this juvenile upset that the democratic party might have to compete with other left or leftish wing parties and candidates. That's life. Get out and work for Hillary, and talk to people who vote Green or Socialist or whatever about the issues. You will get 0 votes with insults. You will cause Hillary to lose votes by snarking about it to people who are leaning Hillary but still deciding.

He's angry because this cakewalk talk is going to make people think they don't have to vote or they can waste their votes on idiot third parties.

We need to act like we're five points down all the time. And we need to stop giving Trump a pass on the debates.

It's a sarcastic post about the media calling the election early.

Consider his email THAT WAS POSTED HERE ON DU YESTERDAY:

Michael Moore: 5 Ways to make sure Tump Loses Bad
http://michaelmoore.com/makesuretrumploses/

Over the past few days, a number of polls have come out showing Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump nationally by double digits, including in blue collar states like Michigan (10%) and Pennsylvania (11%).

If you are a Clinton supporter and have felt a sense of relief when you saw these numbers, your shoulders suddenly relaxing and an audible “phew” coming from your mouth, if you got excited that your belief system was now reassured that there was no chance your fellow Americans will vote for a narcissistic misogynist, then you just became part of the problem — and why Donald J. Trump could actually win on November 8th.

I have a truly idiotic hide on DU that arose from a similar failure of reading comprehension.

As against that, I suppose one can argue that an experienced polemicist like Moore should be more careful not to be misunderstood.

With regard to the substance, it might be a net benefit for Democrats (especially downticket Democrats) if people are convinced that a Clinton win is a certainty. Turnout would be depressed across the board, but perhaps more significantly among Republicans.
