Experts say white supremacists see Trump campaign as "last stand"AP August 11, 2016
WASHINGTON -- Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his campaign are expressing ideas similar to those espoused by white supremacists, legal, media and civil rights experts say.
In addition, the experts said Wednesday, white supremacists are using the 2016 presidential elections to attempt to control the culture of politics.
"Many white supremacists see this as their last stand for controlling the country," Heidi Beirich, head of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center, said on a conference call with reporters.

Many white men will give up voting and join extremist organizations when Trump loses. It's the same dynamic that has given rise to ISIS and Al Quaeda. For certain groups of people (most often men,) losing power (or rather, unearned privilege) is anathema and they're willing to shed blood to keep it. Men who are losing what they think of as their rightful entitlements are filled with hate, and with the way men are raised in most cultures of the world today, they have no way of handling those emotions, and no incentive not to resort to violence. It's why patriarchy is bad for men too.
