I might be worried if I actually thought that Trump thought actually seriously about anything.

think of a worse person to be in charge of US foreign policy than John Bolton - unless it's Trump himself.

Bolton was effectively Secretary of State during Bush II's first term. Colin Powell was mere window dressing. Bolton was in the power slot (UnderSecretary for Arms Control and International Security Matters - it used to be known as "Political/Military Affairs&quot . That slot is almost ALWAYS filled by a close friend and associate of the SoS and as a rule is someone who has the complete trust of by the SoS.

Not so with Bolton. He was named by Cheney and, together with all the other chickenhawk warmongers, implemented Cheney's policies. Bolton at least did enlist in the MD National Guard. But he NEVER served in an active war zone.

I absolutely and completely loathe the man.
