Hewitt, rather than challenging this, backs off. Note this part of the exchange:

Hewitt falling over himself to agree with Trump with "that's true" and "good point" even though Trump explicitly said that Hewitt was wrong and that Trump did mean that Obama was the founder of ISIS, and Hewitt basically comes around to accepting this premise, and then changes to another topic.
