[Vallejo, CA] City, sheriff’s office seek reimbursements from Bernie Sanders’ campaign
After setting out the welcome mat for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, the City of Vallejo is not “Feeling the Bern” anymore.
Just burned.
According to Vallejo officials, the Sanders campaign reimbursed the city $37,000 but still owes about $30,000 for expenses related to the Vermont senator’s May 18 visit.
Joanna Altman, assistant to the Vallejo City Manager, said the total $67,000 cost included the use of Vallejo police, and other city expenses.
