They will whine for special consideration. They'll head straight to the SCOTUS and aver that to not allow them to change their candidate will deny the people a choice and will cause a Constitutional crisis.

Since they don't play by the rules, they don't plan on following the laws of the different states, who after all run the presidential elections.
