2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumYard Sign Poll
I have found that yard signs tend to be a reasonable measure of what might be seen coming up in the election. Not really perfect by any means, but those who will put up a yard sign will most likely vote.
While it is still early in the campaign, in my heavily Democratic area I have thus far seen a total of two for the upcoming Presidential race and both are for the Libertarian Candidate, Gary Johnson.
What up in your area?

(Not an exact quote, a paraphrase)
Yard sign polls are meaningless. Not every voter wants to put up a yard sign or put a bumper sticker on their car.

(10,749 posts)Not a lot of yard signs for president.
It bugs me that yard signs for state office do not name the party.

(10,893 posts)but when I was up in Arcata, I saw plenty of Sanders bumper stickers and almost nothing else. Other than that, I saw one Carson bumper sticker.
During the past 3 months back home in the East Bay, I have seen a few Hillary bumper stickers, a few old-looking Obama bumper stickers, 2 Sanders bumper stickers, and 1 Cruz bumper sticker.
