Fusion, by David Matthews :
No matter how you feel about the 2016 electionwhether youre #WithHer or hoping to Make America Great Againyou cant do much to calm your nerves unless youre registered to vote.
The election in November might be the most important election of your lifetime, and voter registration drives by both partiesplus some third-party efforts, like those of Planned Parenthoodhave been signing up millions of new voters to take part in the historic showdown between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
But voting isnt as simple as showing up on Election Day. Each state handles voter registration differently, and some states processes are simpler than others. To make it easier for you, weve put together this state-by-state breakdown of how to register to vote. (Since each state also has its own restrictions on who can and cant vote, you will need to find out if you meet the legal requirements to vote in your state before signing up.)

Maybe Kansas is like Alabama?
Our State Chief Justice told our county probate judges in charge of marrying folks to ignore same sex marriage ruling by US Supreme Court. Looks like he's about to get removed from office (again).

There is yet another hearing on this set for Sept 21...just a few weeks before the registration deadline.
In the small world department, I know the judge.
