The Libertarian Window

The Republicans who are "NeverTrump have a very short window here, and bringing McMullin into it keeps that window closed. Republicans who cannot fathom voting for either Trump or Clinton must either coalesce around Johnson of face the fact that Trump will define their party for the next four years.

If they cannot coalesce 15% of the voters around Johnson before the September debate, it's over. Trump defines the party and they cannot alter that fact.

So if any of your Republican friends and acquaintances should talk to you about Johnson, make sure you tell them to take another look at McMullin.
