He is isolating Republican opponents and supporting like minded maniacs and will have a force to be reckoned with before long.
If he can boost turnout in states by running his own candidates he may increase his chances. In the end we may be left with a very radical far right wing group of anti American agitators to contend with.

I literally cannot think of a better way to guarantee a Dem landslide of epic proportions than to split the RW vote completely and officially. Unfortunately I have more chance of being elected Pope, but we can always dream (about 3rd party, not my papacy.)
