Politico: With a clear lead in the polls, demographic advantages, and a rival who is out of sync with local GOP leaders, Hillary Clinton is beginning to put some distance between her campaign and Donald Trump, raising the prospect that Colorado, a pivotal swing state, is too far gone for Trump to catch up.No one close to the Clinton team is ready to say the states nine electoral votes are in their column. But with just over three months until Election Day, Clinton and her allies are showing outward signs of self-assurance here by all-but cutting Colorado out their recent ad buys.
Larry Sabatos Crystal Ball: We are moving Colorado from Leans Democratic to Likely Democratic.

(12,412 posts)We have to play this on all fronts. No state is safe until the votes have been counted. Each and every vote must be delivered to the polls.
We must stop thinking the is a game we can win one step at a time. We must create a groundswell that will place our candidate in office with the largest vote and majority in history.
Let's start swinging for the fence.

(2,493 posts)If Hillary can solidify CO, NH, and IA (anyone seen any recent IA polls?) early then she can focus on VA, PA, OH and FL, although the recent PA poll looks very promising. I've seen a lot of Dem volunteers on the streets in my neighborhood, which is a heavily liberal area, making sure people are registered to vote.
Does anyone know if she's planning to spend time in GA, NC or AZ? I'm not sure it makes sense for her to spend a ton of time in GA and AZ since those states would simply be icing on the cake but NC could offset a loss in NV/NH or IA.
