2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDid you like Rev Barber's speech at the DNC?
Then you might enjoy his books too. The Kindle edition of his first book is only $2.99 right now.
Rev Barber is a great man with a great vision. He is most know for his role in Moral Mondays, but his vision and leadership in my state is much wider and deeper than most realize. He is an amazing social justice warrior who fights for ALL civil rights as though they were his own. I encourage others to learn about him and about our battles here in NC.

(11,243 posts)He is still the actual minister at a small church in Fayetteville (I think). I am not really religious, but he has good things to say.

Obviously most people found his speech to be fantastic, so in this matter, I defer to my peers. He seems like a very good man.
