The Word That Is Finally Taking Down Trump: "Unqualified"

It seems that the dems have found the 1 line of attack that is tearing into Trump like no other argument has before. Obviously he was in a really shitty position before they found this possible magic bullet but this brilliant theme from the Democratic Convention appears to sticking in the American consciousness; that is, Trump is dangerously unqualified to be president. It is quite brilliant. Instead of trying to take him down with each individual crazy thing he says, this wraps up all of his behavior into one extremely effective attack. Why does Trump call Mexicans murderers and rapists? Because he is unqualified to be president. Why doesn't Trump know about Russia's invasion of Crimea? Because he is not qualified to be president. Why is Trump attacking the family of a dead American solider, why he is getting into twitter arguments with random people, why was the Republican Convention such a shit show, why are republicans refusing to endorse Trump, why is Trump repeating quotes from white supremacists, why is he still attacking his primary opponents, why is he talking about using nuclear weapons? Because he is unqualified to be president. Each time he opens his mouth, each time he gets a simple fact wrong, each time he proposes some bizarre policy, or gets into petty squabbles for days or weeks with random people, the same word will ring in voters heads "unqualified".

And the attack is working with aweinspring effectiveness. Here are the numbers from the fox news poll from today

Qualified to be president? Sixty-five percent say Clinton is vs. 43 percent Trump. Fifty-eight percent feel he isn’t qualified, including 45 percent who say “not at all.”

On temperament, 64 percent say Clinton has it. Just 37 percent say Trump does. And 72 percent think Clinton has the knowledge to serve effectively, while 40 percent say the same for Trump.

Many people might be somewhat cold to Clinton but most say that she knows that she is doing and won't make any dangerous, snap decisions. That is driving people, including Republican politicians, to endorse Clinton over Trump. Because now people can summarize the problem with Trump in one word: unqualified.

Obama is saying it

Clinton is saying it

Republicans are now saying it

Ladies and gentlemen. We may have found Trump's achilles heel. The one word that is going to scare people away from him in droves. Unqualified.

The problem with trump isn't just that he has bad ideas - it's that he's a bad guy.

Seriously. If he lived in any of our towns, who would entrust an animal shelter to this man's management? Disaster, scandal and weeping rescuers would be the inevitable result.

But I don't think the word stuck to Hillary because it was obviously not true. It is true that Trump is not qualified so it is sticking.

Sanders is now helping to show Americans that Trump is the most unqualified presidential candidate in recent history.

I wouldn't say it hasn't stuck. Trump's followers have lapped it up.

But the Republican front-runner says that he’ll use Sanders’ sound bite calling Clinton unqualified later in the campaign. Trump didn’t mention that Sanders has since retreated from his own comment and said that Clinton, a lawyer, former senator and onetime secretary of state, is intelligent and experienced.

On “Fox News Sunday,” Trump said Sanders’ comments back up his own charge that Clinton is only a viable candidate because she’s a woman.

“Bernie Sanders says that Hillary Clinton is unqualified to be president. Based on her decision making ability, I can go along with that!” he wrote.

The fact that Hillary thinks the temporary Muslim ban, which she calls the "Muslim ban", promotes terrorism, proves Bernie Sanders was correct when he said she is not qualified to be President.

because so many people have been on the job market for a long time and are used to looking at lists of required qualifications. They know that if you have 9 out of the 10 things listed as required, you won't even get an interview.
