Evil is entirely the correct word.

The vilification of Trump is all pointing to one thing - if Trump still looks likely to win in October Obama will declare martial law and postpone the election indefinitely.

Democracy and the Constitution do not matter to these people.

This situation represents what happens when the people nominate someone who doesn’t embrace the 2-party system. Trump is a threat to the posh lifestyle that politicians have comfortably held for generations. Whether you agree 100% with Trump or not, this is our chance (bigger than any 3rd party candidate) to finally break down the fortress that seemed an impossible task. If you are tired of the 2-party system, electoral college, big government, unaccountable government, etc, then you need to vote for Trump. If Trump does not win, the only option left to stop government oppression over the next decade will be a revolution or civil war.

While that's cute, the fact is that there will be NO CWII or revolution. People have too much debt, and are far too worried about losing their "stuff", to participate in such a thing. Case in point: Why is it most have trouble showing up to rallies and protests? They got jobs to go to, mortgages/rent to pay, car payments to make, etc. That ALL goes away the moment they shift their focus.

One of the talk shows was interview Steele and some other republican talking head. They were all about how the polls were still close and there is time for trump to get his act and message together.

They both agreed that if the numbers ever reached double digits there would be panic and you would start seeing more republicans shitcanning Trump and going it alone.

The next 2 weeks will be interesting. Because at some point in time some of the trump supporters who are not all in, and there are a few, will feel that they have sufficient cover to bail on him. Even another 3-4 percent reduction in his support and things will get fun.

But we should also keep in mind, while this is great news, it could and may well swing back in the other direction.
