New Clinton TV Ad Slams Trump For Outsourcing His Clothing Line

Hillary Clinton's campaign released a new TV ad Wednesday featuring Donald Trump struggling to identify where clothing from his branded line was made and blasting him for outsourcing.

The 30-second spot, "Someplace," features a clip of Trump on "The Late Show with David Letterman" from 2012, where Letterman quizzes him on where the ties and shirts from his clothing line are made. Trump offers that they're made "someplace" before Letterman reveals they're actually made in China and Bangladesh. "It's good," Trump says in the clip with a shrug. "We employ people in Bangladesh. They have to work, too."

The ad hits on a common criticism lobbed at Trump since he began his campaign: that he wants to put "America first" and frequently talks about protecting workers from outsourcing, even though his own businesses have outsourced.

A second ad the campaign released Wednesday, "How To," details Clinton's plan to tax top earners at higher rates and charge companies that leave the U.S. an "exit tax," which would then be invested in U.S. companies.

I really liked the economic one - short and to the point. Simple enough that anyone can understand. Good graphics.

Now, be sure to show them in Rust Belt states. Maybe Hillary will become another Roosevelt, ELEANOR. Who by the way was even more progressive than Franklin Delano.
