Trump's Erratic Behavior: Fatigue

What are the effects of fatigue and their relationship to work?

Because fatigue cannot be "measured", it is difficult to separate the effects of long working hours or lack of sleep to any changes in accident or injury rates.

Trump has lived a life of luxury all his life. Being catered to. He has not worked a hard day in his pampered life.
He won't do bus tours, won't prep for debates nor speeches, calling names and "Making America Great Again" is his only strategy.

The ordeal of a full time campaign is not what his body nor his mind is used to. Fatigue is setting in and that can have real negative consequences.

http://www.ccohs.ca/oshanswers/psychosocial/fatigue.html

However, studies report the effects of fatigue as:

reduced decision making ability,
reduced ability to do complex planning,
reduced communication skills,
reduced productivity / performance,
reduced attention and vigilance,
reduced ability to handle stress on the job,
reduced reaction time - both in speed and thought,
loss of memory or the ability to recall details,
failure to respond to changes in surroundings or information provided,
unable to stay awake (e.g., falling asleep while operating machinery or driving a vehicle),
increased tendency for risk-taking,
increased forgetfulness,
increased errors in judgement,
increased sick time, absenteeism, rate of turnover,
increased medical costs, and
increased accident rates.

Maybe aggravated a bit by fatigue, but what's wrong with him can't be cured by a good night's sleep.

In order to get anyone to buy the thing-its expensive, they usually break a disorder down or eliminate previous disorders. Pretty much any mental disorder will reduce the efficacy of the conscience. Not all disorders exhibit a pattern of amoral behavior. "The Donald" seems to favor that behavior. And he is certainly a litigious and vengeful individual.

What distinguishes a Narcissist from other disorders is the need to be front and center of everyone's attention and to be the best at getting attention. Depressives don't need that level of attention, Psychotics are operating on an internal set of stumuli and sociopaths don't need attention to operate against societal norms. Since they lack empathy, they could care less what you or I think.

There is some overlap in all of these disorders, however, in the case of "The Donald", he is text book, albeit to an advanced degree.

He's been doing 4 a night for years. Very few people are that sleep efficient. People can train themselves to be barge through a day, especially if everything is go-go-go and laid on for you. But the effects build up.

Without enough good sleep, the body can't clear out protein and metabolic by-product buildups from the brain. Over time they are likely a contributing factor to dementia.

He really does it on his own terms. And he can because of all of the free air time he gets. He sucks the oxygen out of the room constantly and he can do it just by making a phone call to Fox And Friends instead of running around with his hat out.

Trump's been making outrageously horrific comments for years, and certainly since the start of his presidential campaign. Only when he attacks the father of a late soldier does the GOP really get upset and people start talking about how Trump might be suffering from a mental illness.

The birtherism, the Muslim ban, the Mexicans are rapists speech and the misogynistic quotes (as read by Megyn Kelly at the first Republican debate last year) weren't cause for concern. But a war of words with a military father is crossing the line.
