If The Media Decides To Rehabilitate Trump

they will do so by tearing down Hillary as much as possible. They need only get Trump to the point where people are convinced he can walk and chew gum at the same time. They will accept an extremely low threshold of acceptability for Trump and simply pile on the negatives on Hillary to get Trump to the level of being acceptable on an even keel with Hillary.

every time one of the Trump surrogates brings up the talking point that Hillary lied on Fox news this past weekend about what Comey said, not a single news personality calls them out. Either they didn't hear, or read about, the congressional hearing with Comey, or they don't want the truth to get out.

I was just hearing that the Trump campaign plan is to continue to attack Hillary on these so-called lies, in an effort to shift the dialogue away from their own issues. The Hillary surrogates need to get a better talking point than "Hillary has already apologized for the mistakes she made, and wishes she had done it differently."

The corporate media is realizing that Trump won't just lose to Madam Clinton in a landslide; he could cost the GOP Congress!

Deregulating the telecommunications, Glass Steigel, and insane tax policies that favor the uber-rich could all be revisited with a Democratic trifecta. I belive they will lead the charge to dump Trump!

These are two different situations. For one thing, GWB was no rocket scientist, but Dick Cheney was. GWB had good help and was likeable in a general way. Trump refuses to accept help and is not likeable for most people. Also, GWB never had a Khan moment and his entire party was behind him, not jumping ship.

Do we really need to build speculative scenarios to worry about?

They were nice to ross Perot. But when he took the lead in polls they realized what they had done and crushed him. They started pointing out he was nuts eric. So too with Trump. If he gets ahead then almost all reporters will point out he is too insane to be President. The press destroyed Perot, destroyed Gore, and will destroy trump. They can make mistakes, such as Gore, but they are not dumb enough to let trump win.

once he said 'the fundamentals of the u.s. economy are strong' day after the crash.

They had been protecting his ass for a while, but couldn't whitewash that statement and they didn't try to.

There will be a feeding frenzy, with The Donald™ as the main course. That's my guess, anyhow. Trump's disaster is fresh meat for the media.

The media has just begun to pile on. They spent almost a year building him up so that he could win the GOP Primary, now it turns out that he's even crazier than they imagined. They're going to keep digging all the way to election day. Rehab won't start until next year if at all.

The public has no idea the skeletons this guy has in his Super Domed size closet. There is literally no end to the scandals they can write about. There are thousands of them.

Trump is going to be the most hated man in the country before November.

It fits in so many ways, no matter how old you may be or what fear it is you are struggling with:

"I am an old man," Twain observed near the end of his life, "I am an old man and have known many troubles, most of which never happened."

Or to take from an older book, "Sufficient unto the day are the troubles therein."
