The "John Wayne" attitude of "Never Apologize, it's a sign of weakness.

My father was a HUGE John Wayne fan. Every Saturday and Sunday mornings I had to watch John Wayne movies or watch no television.

I've probably seen She Wore a Yellow Ribbon a hundred times.

In that movie Wayne's character, Captain Nathan Brittles, pushed that bullshit off as a norm.

Teabaggers and Trump think that was a documentary:

There are plenty of other characters he played who did apologize (ever seen The Horse Soldiers?).

to never trust a man that can't admit when he's made a mistake and apologize. I take that a a personal axiom.
