Donald Trump makes a mockery of our election system.

Truly he does. In his blustering, blundering, toxic campaign, he insults everything that is good and supports everything that is bad about our nation. He does this, while still attracting crowds of supporters who cheer his boorish, tone-deaf statements about our military personnel, their parents, and now even babies.

He is a satire of himself. He appears to be bent on a campaign that steadily grows more and more outrageous. Now, I'm hearing that the asked why we should not use nuclear weapons during a foreign policy briefing.

I'm almost beginning to believe that he is doing this intentionally, for some reason known only to him. He appears to be deliberately throwing the election and trying to destroy the Republican Party in the process. Now, I don't disagree with either goal, if those are his plans, but I don't think it's intentional on his part. He is just that stupid, clueless and sociopathic.

It is amazing to watch. I've been following presidential elections since 1956, when I was just 11 years old. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

And yet, he still has supporters. How is that even possible?

after all, it didn't quite sink in when "w" did it... was too subtle. This is so blatantly obvious that anyone whose IQ registers to the right of 0 on a number line can see it.

Upon being told that he had the support of every thinking American, Adlai Stevenson is said to have replied, "That's not enough. I need a majority."

when I first learned about him. He had no chance of defeating Eisenhower, of course, but I certainly liked him

I assume they have been hiding under rocks since 1950 but wow do they scare me. The woman yesterday whose 10 year old son called Hillary a b.... and his mom said he had a right to his opinion.... My mom would have smacked my brother so hard he could talk for days for saying that word. No we were not abused, but we knew the limits. There are no limits for these racist, sexist, ignorant people.

I don't know if the country can survive another 100 days of this. What if people don't show up to vote and his crazy people do and he wins!

I won't sleep through the night until November 9th.

It's not difficult. If each of us could bring just one or two additional voters to the polls for vote for Hillary, we'd win going away. Surely, every Democrat knows one or two people who could be convinced to go and vote. I can't imagine anyone who does not know someone like that.

Those who are able can do much more, of course. I invite them to contact their local Democratic Party organization and ask how they can help. Even small contributions of time will make a difference, and I know those offers to help will be received with enthusiasm.

I start my job shortly so I won't be able to do as much, but I am going to try to keep it going. Can't do money right now, but time I can do.

I doubt that Trump is any sort of artist, though.
