Democrats need to keep a substantial core of them and CLOSE all primaries and get rid of caucuses. If you want to impact Democratic primaries, you ought to have to a registered Democrat.

between now and the 2020 elections. The Democrats will make them less powerful and the Republicans will create them and make them more powerful.

Their biggest problem is a stage full of candidates that poured out of a clown car.

I don't think that Republican superdelegates would have deterred Trump, just like in 2008 for the Democrats, the newcomer got conversions as he gained the majority of the vote. Obama was a responsible candidate, so the superdelegates decided to go with the majority. It may have been different if it had been a nutcase. The Republicans only have different degrees of nutcase.
