Trump's lawsuits

Some troll in a group I'm in on Facebook said something about Hillary Clinton being involved in 'unprecedented number of investigations' The group is supposed to be about antiques. I commented, but then realized what group I was in, so I blocked him. I like that group and don't want to be banned for off-topic posts. Anyway, I saw a headline on the front page of DU about Trump losing his 'bid for a pretrial win in Trump University lawsuit' and I wondered just how many lawsuits Trump has been involved in and found this:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/01/donald-trump-lawsuits-legal-battles/84995854/

3500! And he was/is the defendant in over 1900 of them!
Lawsuits and investigations are different, in this case the investigations were time and money wasting efforts by several underperforming elected officials and Trump either sued 1600 entities or 1900 entities sued him.

Note how often Trump or Trump businesses have settled. considering Trump says "I never settle."

The suits about taxes are revealing:

Trump’s companies have been engaged in battles over taxes almost every year from the late 1980s and into this year. In addition, at leas1t five Trump companies were issued warrants totaling more than $13,000 for late or unpaid taxes in New York state just since Trump declared his candidacy in June 2015, according to state records.

....on an episode of This Week Tonight did a funny bit where he pointed out that if you assigned each of Trump's lawsuits to an episode of a TV courtroom series it would require every episode of every such television show that had ever aired. And you would still have some Trump lawsuits left over. That really puts the number of lawsuits in perspective. As Oliver put it, Trump's lawsuits overwhelm the entire genre. LOL!
